Happy New Year!
Sitting at home, it doesn’t feel much like a new year, but my mind + heart are stirring with excitement for what this year will bring.
2013 was a good, hard and beautiful year. It was a year of working hard and dreaming big. I’ve met so many incredible people this past year and had the honor to photograph so many beautiful couples and families. Not only that, a few of my personal projects turned out to be some of my favorite shoots.
I could go on and on about what 2013 was for me and for Amy Nicole Photography, as I am so content and overjoyed looking back on the year. There was A LOT of learning involved — emotionally, artistically, logically, the list goes on. But overall, the year was truly so good. Good seems like such a simple word to use without much passion, but I don’t feel that way. I can just look back on the year and feel peace, joy + goodness.
I’m entering 2014 with a newfound confidence, excitement and drive to make things happen in 2014. I want to love well, serve well and create recklessly.
With all that to say, I couldn’t have done it without all of the support, love + encouragement from friends + family…and I certainly couldn’t have done it without all of my amazing clients. Thank you for choosing me to document some of the most precious times of your lives, I smile when thinking about every one of you and I am so very grateful for you! Thank you for allowing me to pursue my dream job–I am loving every minute!
So, to recap it all, here are a few of my favorites from 2013!
