Mel: Alabama Heirloom Bridal Portraits

September 23, 2014

Mel and Drew married this past Saturday and while I can’t wait to show you their sweet wedding photographs, I’m honored to share Mel’s bridal portraits. Their entire wedding was so full of meaning and so full of heirlooms, it made my heart sing.

Mel mentioned from day one that she’d love to have bridal portraits, so I was eager to hear her vision…bridal portraits at the same church her grandparents married in. Not only did this church have so much history to it, especially with her family, this church was absolutely gorgeous. From the moment she sent me pictures, I was eager to photograph her as a beautiful bride. We traveled down to Huntsville on a beautiful summer day and Mel was absolutely stunning. She even brought along the same bible her grandmother carried down the aisle in lieu of a bouquet.

This session is full to the brim with heartfelt memories, heirlooms and meaning. Mel, you are stunning and have a heart of gold!
