I met Drew + Mel for the first time at Jeni’s in 12 South on a beautiful fall afternoon. They treated me to a sweet potato and pumpkin ice cream sundae and within minutes, it felt like I had known these two for years. (They ended up having Jeni’s at their reception–how cool?) They are so full of spunk, laughter and an incredibly contagious joy. They told me they’d be getting married at Mel’s family’s farm and would be pulling in heirlooms into their wedding day in so many ways. She told me from day one that she’d love to do her bridal session at the same church her grandparents married in in Alabama. There was so much though and love poured into their wedding day and these two are so loved!
September 20 rolled around and though it was a bit warm for September, the sun drenched these two with beautiful light all throughout their day. Their smiles were infectious and it was so apparent how extremely excited these two were to become husband and wife.
Drew and Mel, thank you so very much for having me document your beautiful wedding day. You two are amazing together–many blessings to you and your marriage for years to come!
Thanks to Tausha Ann for helping me capture the day!
