Tobin & Kelli: Nashville Wedding at The Cordelle

June 23, 2015

Kelli donned a family diamond and Tobin wore a wedding band made by his brother. His mother created a watercolor cityscape for their invitations and his sister made the sweet Tennessee cookies for their guests. These two sowed pieces of themselves and their family throughout the entire wedding.

Seeing a couples’ wedding vision come together is always a treat.  Kelli + Tobin’s wedding day came together with such unique details full of color, vibrancy, shapes and endless succulents. They truly created a wedding that was uniquely them. From the geometric planters, bright pops of yellow and lovely industrial elements scattered throughout The Cordelle. Those industrial details were absolutely perfect tied in with their ceremony on the pedestrian bridge in Nashville. Isn’t that such an amazing spot to hold a wedding ceremony? It’s an iconic bridge in Nashville and a great spot to celebrate with so many friends + family coming from out of town.

Kelli wore the prettiest lace gown from Modern Trousseau with her flowing curls (which we bonded over from day one–her curls are flawless!). From the moment they saw each other, you could see they were simply enjoying their day together. Any nerves that may have been were no more, and their laughing said it all.

As the ceremony started, the clouds drifted above for some nice shade as they spoke their handwritten vows. Also, during their ceremony, they had their mothers present them with flowers to throw into the river below and their fathers’ presented them with a lock to fasten to the bridge and key to throw into the river as well. Again, such unique points in the ceremony to truly slow down and soak in the meaning of it all!
