The giddyness of these two on their wedding day was incredibly contagious. Amber is the sweetest soft-spoken southern gal that has every bit of charm you’d imagine her to have. Then there’s her husband, Matt, and he’s the epitome of a gentleman. The way he looked at Amber and held her would bring anyone to tears. Matt adores Amber and sweet Amber absolutely adores Matt. They even ended up exchanging the exact same wedding gift – moleskin journals they had written to each other throughout their engagement, unbeknownst to each other.
From the very first phone call, I knew we were a perfect fit. Their vision for their day was more about the people surrounding them than all of the random details. Matt & Amber opted for a brunch wedding, as they simply wanted to spend as much time together on their wedding day. And when I asked about the photographs they cared about most, they replied knowing that they cared about the photographs of the people who would surround them.
It was the perfect quiet morning in November, and after joining as one in the garden, they celebrated with the best brunch you could imagine. Coffee with every flavor, mimosas, and mismatched china full of southern staples.
After they exited, they met their guests downtown to continue the celebration in a more casual fashion – they truly spent the entire day basking in the joy of the day.
Congratulations, Matt & Amber!
