2017 Best of Family & Newborn

Each year, I’m invited to document the lives of such dear families and darling growing babies. Watching children grow and the bonds between those children and their parents flourish is such a joy and honor to be a part of. This year, I photographed families in Charlottesville, Richmond, D.C., New York City, Raleigh, Charleston and Nashville!

From in-home sessions to mini sessions, to downtown Charleston, exploring cities and in between, I fell even more in love with photographing what it means to be a family and to grow a family. I watched parents become parents for the first time, and I’ve watched families bring sweet new additions that made their families feel complete.
