With fall just around the corner, I wanted to share a little recap from my fall minis last year!
I also plan on announcing my mini session dates & booking links to my email list tomorrow, so be sure to get on the list here!
From the stunning backdrop of autumn colors to the cozy family vibes, here’s why you should consider booking a fall mini session.
One of the best things about mini sessions is that they’re quick. Fall can be a super busy time for many families and if you’re feeling like you need something shorter this year or for the season you’re in, mini sessions are a perfect fit! Mini sessions are 20 minutes, which is just enough time to capture those timeless portraits. We may even have time for some in-between lifestyle photos if you know your crew warms up quickly!
Fall mini sessions are also more budget-friendly. If you’ve wanted to work together, but aren’t quite in a season to invest in a full session, or if you just want to see if we work well together, mini sessions are a great option!
Mini sessions are perfect for documenting milestones, whether it’s a once-a-year thing or between bigger sessions. Let’s say you booked a newborn session and plan to do a one-year session but want to document the sweet phase your baby is in, a mini session is perfect! Or, if you have a teen getting ready to graduate or if you’re celebrating a child’s birthday, mini sessions are sweet and simple ways to pause time and document this season for your child and family.
Let’s be honest, fall photos make fantastic holiday cards. By booking a mini session in the fall, you’ll have beautiful, fresh photos ready to go for your holiday greetings. It’s a great way to get ahead of the game and check that task off your list. (Just make sure to book early so you’ll have your photos back in time!) My cut-off for holiday photos is mid-November, so booking early is your best bet.
A mini session is a fun, low-stress way to spend some quality time together as a family. It’s an opportunity to play, laugh, and just enjoy each other’s company. Plus, you’ll end up with lovely photos that capture these genuine, candid moments.
