A Look Back at Fall Mini Sessions in Charlottesville, VA

Each and every fall is a fun and wild sprint. The weather cools down a bit, this town shines in such beautiful ways and my calendar fills up quickly. Somehow, in the middle of back-to-school chaos, sports schedules, and the whirlwind of fall, families still show up to press pause on it all and savor time together.

Each year is a fun game of tetris as I plan the dates on my calendar among the ever-changing landscape and sunset times along with locations that are easy for families to access. I have families join in every stage of life from new babies to graduating seniors, and I’m so very grateful that many families join from all over Virginia (and some from out of state!). It’s not lost on me what a gift and delight it is to enjoy families year after year as your families change and grow.

Minis are truly such a fun adrenaline rush for me and I leave each and every time with the fullest heart and biggest smile. Sure, I crash the minute I get home, but I crash so dang happy. Last year, I shared a recap of fall mini photo sessions, and I wanted to share a peek at last year’s sessions too because they’re too fun not to share. (I bet you’ll be smiling the whole time!)
