At-home lifestyle session in Charlottesville

As I’m walking into motherhood, all of the different milestones with a little one hit a little closer to home. Seeing mothers celebrate and also shed some tears as their babies grow older is such a beautiful thing to watch.

You may remember the Davis family from last year, as we worked together for a family session last December. As I was talking with Brittany, she shared that she wanted to have some photos taken of her nursing with her sweet baby, Schaffer. With it being her third child, many of the last few years have been filled with pregnancy and nursing. Nursing was coming to an end with her little  man, and she wanted to have this dear season documented to remember these precious times in the countless years ahead. And what an honor it was to document this time for them. Of course, her other littles sneaked in for some love, so I simply documented the bond between Brittany and her dear, dear children. The way they all light up with one another is something that would inspire anyone, because the joy was so incredibly present.

I just adore when clients seek to press pause on the busyness of life to document the beauty of the in-between!
