Lifestyle Newborn Session at Home in Charlottesville, VA: Porter
My sweet friend, Ashley Cox ( a phenomenal photographer herself!), told me she was expecting a few months after we announced we personally were expecting and what fun it was to experience that season together! She and Kelsey decided to keep the gender of their child a surprise, so it was such a fun announcement to receive when she shared that Porter was officially born!
They had been renovating much of their home for the months leading up to Porter’s birth, and my, what a transformation! Don’t you just LOVE the design of their bedroom!? We did a few photographs in Porter’s simple & sweet nursery too to tie it all together. Of course, Summer, their gorgeous golden retriever had to join in for the session too!
Ashley & Kelsey, thank you so much for having me document this dear season in your lives. It was a treat and an honor! Porter is so lucky to call you mom & dad!
