I first met this sweet family through the church we were attending here in Charlottesville. We were both new to town, so it was sweet to find families in the same season. We hadn’t welcomed our Eisley yet, so it’s wild just how much has changed since we initially met. Between our families, we welcomed Eisley and bought a house….and this sweet family navigated law school, law school graduation, a move/new job and adoption (just to name a few).
Before they moved, we wanted to celebrate the arrival & adoption of their newest little one….and then Covid happened (infamous words, huh?).
Fast forward about 6 months, and we finally got to meet up for a session outside of Richmond, VA at one of my favorites, Tuckahoe Plantation. The colors had begun to change, and the sun & temperate weather welcomed us. The best part? They had recently finalized their little man’s adoption, so it was a true celebration in so many ways.
