It truly is such an amazing experience to see your friends become parents. To watch the glow in their smile as they can’t stop staring at their sweet child who has just entered the world. Their world changed in an instant and it’s simply fascinating. I’m not a mother myself, and I can only imagine the flood of emotions involved.
Anticipation. Beauty. Excitement. Fear. Anxiety. Pure Joy. Exhaustion. And a love that can’t be explained.
Having the opportunity to photograph this special time, well, it leaves me speechless. And I’m always amazed how little newborns are! Of course, I get to meet newborns frequently, but their size never fails to amaze me.
Emmaline was so incredibly sweet, alert and calm throughout the Jacobs’ family session, it was amazing! Emmaline, welcome to the world! You have one amazing set of parents to guide you through this life!
