Jeremy and I have had the opportunity to travel quite a bit the last couple of months, and I’m still pinching myself that we’ve had the opportunity. We’ve seen so many friends – new + old – and spent more time with family than we could have hoped for.
We ended up being home for Easter this past month, as a good friend from college married his beautiful bride. They hosted their wedding at The Dumbarton House in Washington, DC and it was a perfect spring afternoon. The bride is even starting a company with her long-time friend that will source + create beautiful gift boxes for weddings + events. Be sure to follow Teak & Twine on Twitter and Instagram, as they will officially launch in October!
We arrived rather early, so we took a few moments to walk around the neighborhood and enjoy the sunshine, and I was thankful to have a few moments to shoot some film. I’m always in love with the architecture of each city we go to, and it was so evident as I received my film, I’m so loving 35mm.

I take a limited number of sessions each month (plus, I’m a bit of a planner and always account for possible weather and sick days!) I’d love to set up a time to chat with you, hear your vision and answer any questions!
