What better way to celebrate Mother’s Day in the south than a classy and oh-so-elegant tea party?
I teamed up with Katie Jacobs of Styling My Everyday, as she effortlessly designed and hosted the most beautiful tea party for four generations of women in her beautiful family. Each woman had their own unique Draper James style, and Katie’s sweet daughter Emmaline joined in on the celebration for her first tea party!
With delectable treats covering every inch of the marble-top dining room table, champagne toasts, warm tea in the prettiest teacups, a custom runner by Abigail T Calligraphy, and yummy pastries from Puffy Muffin, it was the sweetest celebration. And all of the china and silver you see? It was all passed down to Katie by her gracious and graceful grandmother. It doesn’t get more southern than that!
In case you missed it, you can see the full blog posts over at Draper James ( Post I & Post II), as well as Katie’s tips for hosting a tea party over on her blog, Styling My Everday!
