Happy Friday, everyone! I am SO excited to finally share a recent editorial I worked on at Early Mountain Vineyards this past fall. This shoot was recently featured on Ruffled, and today I’m sharing a few of my personal favorites.
It was a long time in the making, and I’m so very thankful for all the amazing people who helped make this vision come to life! The first time I visited Early Mountain, I knew I had to collaborate on a shoot, as I am simply in love with the design and warmth of this beautiful venue! From the beautiful cream brick, stone floors and warm wood accents, this place is a winter dream. And those fireplaces!
The lovely Alana Futcher of Chancey Charm helped my original vision come to life even better than I could have imagined! We dreamt up a color palette that was rich and vibrant instead of your typical winter whites, and The Bride Room sent us the most gorgeous Monique Lhuiller gown you could imagine. Our sweet model, Madeleine, also rocked a gorgeous emerald ring from Trumpet & Horn and stunning pieces from Kendra Scott’s bridal line. Anna Breeding completed the look with a gorgeous red lip – complete modern elegance!
One of my ideas that I was eager to try was to add an elegant rug under the main table, as I felt it would bring such warmth to the table setting…more like an evening dinner at home. I simply love the idea of an elegant dinner party reception that exudes warmth and familiarity. We found this perfect rug through Paisley & Jade and Alana found the perfect runner to top it all off.
A priority for us on this shoot was knockout floral design. An artist who can truly balance color and shape in a floral piece is worth their weight in gold, and Rhea of Photosynthesis Floral Design does just that. Her designs brought such rich colors to tie all the details together beautifully.
Did I mention we also had a stunning invitation suite by Jodi Macfarlan and Farmstead Design Studio? The perfect mix of modern elegance and bold color – I’m in love.
To top it all off, Commonwealth Cake Company created an emerald cake with the right touch of shimmer to pair with our mulled wine vignette to bring the best of winter charm.
Below are a few of my favorite photographs from the day, and in case you missed it, here is the feature on Ruffled. See all credits below!

[…] Earlier this spring, I was talking with Sarah over at Old Metropolitan Hall and mentioned collaborating on a bright summer styled shoot that would feature a lovely color palette since Old Metropolitan Hall has such a gorgeous blank space. Shortly after, I reached out to a few talented friends and the shoot began to come together quite quickly! I was thrilled to have Alana of Chancey Charm join again after our winter shoot at Early Mountain. […]
