Lake Tahoe on Film

As you may remember, Jeremy and I traveled out west to Lake Tahoe earlier this summer for Stephanie & Freddy‘s wedding (which if you missed it, be sure to see their post here!). Funny enough, I had only found out I was pregnant a few weeks prior. I was feeling great, until a few days into the trip in which my “crazy hour” developed where dinner became quite the hassle. We ended up skipping eating out so many times, as all I could stomach was chicken noodle soup or mac n cheese from the grocery story. #livinglarge

So, when I came back, all of our friends asked us how the trip was, and I simply smiled and said “it was great!.” Because it really was…besides all the nausea. We still hiked some and enjoyed the beaches at the lake, which felt like an ocean beach without the waves…something I didn’t know was possible! California never ceases to amaze me with its expansive range of landscape!

Of course, when we landed, our first order of business was In-N-Out, because…priorities. We spent some time scouting for Stephanie & Freddy’s wedding, and after the wedding, we explored Sand Harbor Beach, Emerald Bay State Park and Kings Beach. The weather was incredible, and the lake views were endless! A few of our favorite views are below…enjoy!!
