The first time I met Kelsey & Zach, we met up at a Starbucks in Raleigh, NC after I had a family session in the area. They were fellow JMU Dukes and spent time dating long distance before both moving to Raleigh. Even early in the morning, these two simply radiated joy…they were just thrilled to finally start their lives together.
In talking about their wedding plans, it was evident that the focus of their day revolved around the people. This came to life in so many ways on their wedding day at Big Spring Farm (including the most beautiful prayer circle of friends during their ceremony), but one of the most remarkable ways was that these two served a plate to each and every one of their guests before guests would go through the line to get their food. Yes, they were last to eat and they said hello to each and every person that came to celebrate them. What a testament of who these two are!
To say their day was love-drenched would be an understatement. To say their wedding day was simply meaningful would be the same…because their wedding day went above and beyond.
I am so thankful to have documented your wedding day, Kelsey & Zach! May these photographs bring you joy for countless years to come!
