I get to photograph this sweet family again this coming weekend, so I thought it’d be the perfect time to share some favorites from their newborn session! A few weeks after Natalie gave birth to Isla, they drove up to Charlottesville for their newborn session on a rainy summer day. It was a joy to officially meet all three of them in person and to watch Natalie & Jake dote on their precious girl. I, of course, adore photographing newborns as they are days old, but watching parents in complete admiration is one of my favorite parts of newborn sessions….especially being on the other side of it all now!
We planned their session at a local studio, as the studio felt like a home rather than your typical studio. Complete with tall windows and warm colors, the rain didn’t affect us one bit.
Enjoy a few favorites of mine from the session and be on the lookout, as I’ll be excited to share how much Miss Isla has grown in a few short months!
