Virginia Lifestyle One Year Old Photos at Home: Isla

September 26, 2019

A baby’s first year of life. It’s a year of so much growth, both for baby and for their parents. It’s a year of so much learning and endless love. And it’s just the start of something so beautiful.

I first photographed Isla shortly after she was born for her newborn session here in Charlottesville. A few short months later we photographed her with her parents at the lovely Afton Mountain Vineyards in the peak of fall. Next up? Her one year old portraits at their home in Roanoke, Virginia.

I adore photographing families in their homes, where so much life and love fills every space. It was the perfect place to celebrate her first birthday in photos! I still can’t get over her sweet baby rolls – are they not to die for!?

Enjoy a few favorites from my time with Isla and her family!
