Relaxed Spring Family Photos at James Monroe Highland in Charlottesville, VA

One of my favorite parts of working with families is the joy of seeing them year after year and watching their families grow. This sweet family had me photograph their daughter’s first year of life from 2018-2019 and they recently welcomed their son earlier this year. Instead of traditional newborn photos, we planned for an outdoor session when the weather warmed up, so we met at Highland for their spring family photos.

You may remember their sweet girl from her Baby’s First Year collection and goodness, she’s grown SO much! Now, I am honored to walk alongside them as we document their son’s first year of life!

We lucked out with such amazing weather and lovely sunshine as the flowers were blooming this spring at Highland, and I’m thrilled to share a few favorites from their amazing session!
