I first met the Mallorys a few months into living in Charlottesville. I had heard of this new wonderful coffee shop in Waynesboro, and I just had to try it out. I walked in and it reminded me so much of some of my favorite coffee shops in Nashville – I was immediately hooked! It had only been open briefly, but I introduced myself, and well, a wonderful friendship began as I learned they were photographers too! Bethany was also a JMU Duke, so of course we had to be friends!
Fast forward, we’ve gotten to know them as we’ve continued to visit Farmhaus Coffee Co. and they even helped me photograph my brother’s wedding. I couldn’t have done it without them! I was so honored when they asked me to photograph them this fall. Being wonderful photographer themselves, it’s always a bit nerve-wracking to photographer another photographer. These two of course made my job easy!
We met at Carter Mountain on a Monday afternoon in October (because we all know weekends at Carter Mountain can be a bit crazy!) and we had the perfect weather!
Bethany & Aaron, thank you SO much for having photograph this sweet season in your lives – I’m so grateful!
