A Look at 2018: Charlottesville Wedding Photographer

January 30, 2019

2018 – what a year! So many big & beautiful changes and another full year of dear clients. I celebrated with clients in Charlottesville, Lexington and Richmond last year. From an intimate courthouse ceremony to church ceremonies and country clubs to outdoor fetes and beautiful mountain views, I had the joy of working with such amazing couples. Though their weddings may have all looked a bit different, they all soaked up their wedding day endlessly with their friends & families, and that’s something I’ll never tire of.

Every year, this blog post gets harder and harder to pull together. It’s hard picking just a few highlights when each wedding is a full story on it’s own. One of my favorite trends this year? First looks with the father of the bride! Now that I have a daughter of my own, watching these interactions between a father and daughter move me in ways I can’t explain!

So, I’ll keep the words short so you can get to scrolling and enjoying a review of 2018!

Thank you, thank you, thank you to each and every one of my clients for choosing me to walk alongside you this past year. It’s a joy and honor to document such a monumental day in your lives, and I don’t take that lightly. I get to do this work that I love because of you, and for that, I’m grateful.
