Richmond, VA Lifestyle Newborn Photos at Home: Rowan

Oh the joy of new life! My calendar has been full of newborn sessions lately, and they just keep getting sweeter. Whether it’s a client’s first child or the next child in their family, it’s always such a joy to document the season they are in. It’s such a treat to watch the dynamics unfold in a family and to help them bottle up this season they are in.

Little Miss Rowan was welcomed by her family this past fall and her big sister Isla is just as cute as can be. They welcomed me into their home in Richmond for their session and I adore how the photographs turned out. Kimberly has the loveliest style – I mean, isn’t her skirt she wore killer? Just a reminder mamas, you can totally have fun with your session and let your best self shine. In fact, I 1000% encourage it. Wear something that makes you feel like your best self, especially in a season where you may not feel totally normal.
