Lifestyle Branding Photos for Britt Davis, Artist

Today, I’m so excited to share a different kind of photo collaboration with my friend, Britt Davis. You may recognize this beauty, as I’ve had the joy & honor of photographing her vibrant family since 2016!

As they say, “to know Britt, is to love Britt.” She has the warmest spirit with a gift of welcoming and entertaining….hospitality is her middle name.

Last year, in a string of coincidences, she picked up a paint brush and fell in love with a whole new way of creating. She surprised me with a stunning piece on my birthday…and on Sunday night, she officially launched her first collection of paintings! She’s already down to 3 pieces (not surprising, of course), and by the time you read this, her collection may be sold out!

She reached out earlier this year as she dreamed of sharing her artwork, and it was such a treat to collaborate together in a whole new way. We met in her hidden loft studio (but, really, it’s hidden through a closet door in her daughter’s room, how cool is that!?) for a few creative portraits as she prepared to launch.

The most amazing part? Her vision in sharing her art. Her art goes beyond the paintings themselves into a much larger vision of “passing the peace” and brining to light conversations about mental health, anxiety and PPD. In her own words, ” a fresh medium for needed conversations.”
