Relaxed Golden Summer Family Session in Charlottesville

It’s where you live, yet even more so, it’s the people who live among you that really define the word home.

As the Kelley family and I planned their session earlier this spring, we had to reschedule a few times, and upon rescheduling, we also changed our location for the session…a change I’m so happy we went for!

When planning locations, I always tell families to choose something that feels “them.” Whether that’s at home, a park you love, a place with a view that brings you visions of home, or somewhere in between. This sweet family is in the midst of planning their new home build out by Pippin Hill, so it was only perfect that we chose the place that will become their home one day.

I just imagine them enjoying these photos years from now thinking about how far they’ve come as a family and how much their story has changed since these first photos at their home-to-be!
