6 Months Baby Milestones Lifestyle Photos in Charlottesville, VA: Rush

Oh, how much can change in just a year. Last summer, one of my dearest friends, Brandy, and I were both expecting. She was due January 18th and I was due January 27th of this year. We both grew up in good ol’ Powhatan, VA and experienced so many of life’s biggest moments together. She was by my side on my wedding day, I photographed her engagement, her wedding day, and some anniversary portraits.

She always joked “we’re going to have our babies on the same day, you watch!” I simply laughed it off because the chances of that were so slim….though I did have a feeling my entire pregnancy that Eisley would come early.

Well, Brandy was right. She delivered this beautiful boy, Rush, on January 23rd in the morning. I texted her throughout the day in disbelief that he was officially here! Little did I know I’d go into labor and deliver sweet Eisley before midnight.

So, here we are. Our babies will forever have the same birthday and my what a complete joy that has been.

Obviously, I couldn’t do their newborn session, so I was thrilled to be able to photograph this sweet boy at 6 months! This milestone has been such a fun one, as they are each coming into their personalities so much! Rush has been such a chill, happy baby from day 1one, and as you can see, he’s sticking to it.

Rush, you are one loved boy and you have no idea how lucky you are to call Brandy & Trey your mama and daddy!
