Sunrise Family Photo Session at Farmington Country Club: Charlottesville Family Photographer

Charlottesville has a wealth of locations for family photos, and I always love helping families find the perfect fit for their family. Though I had photographed weddings at Farmington, I had yet to do a family session here and it’s definitely a new favorite!

I’ve had the joy of photographing this sweet family a few times prior with their oldest little man, so it was such a delight to meet them for their family session this past fall to document their newest addition as well! They suggested. Farmington Country Club for their family photos, and we decided on a sunrise session. Though sunrise sessions can bring a bit of dew in the morning during parts of the year, I always find it so worth getting up early for!

For many families, a sunrise session is actually a preferable time for their children, as everyone is up already. Even if it means waking up a bit earlier,  many kids are in great spirits in the morning rather than being too tired at the end of the day.

We lucked out with lovely golden light on this fall morning, and even some beautiful blooms in a sweet tucked away garden that brought more of a neutral background instead of just the traditional fall colors.
