Charlottesville & Richmond Lifestyle Newborn Photography at Home

This dear friend of mine has been in my life since middle school…and let’s just say if you still are close with anyone from middle school, then you know they’ve seen it all. Middle school doesn’t seem to be kind to many!

We grew closer after college, and then as motherhood has graced our journeys, we’ve become even closer. Our first babies were even born on the same day! Now, this lovely mama is a mama to three, with this little beautiful lady in these photos being her first girl. I was so excited to come spend the morning with her to document this sacred & crazy season for her family. We photographed 95% of the session in the main bedroom with it’s calming colors and lovely light, and I even had a chance to bring out my Rollei, which is a square format film camera. I adore the camera, but it’s a finicky one so it’s not one I can bring out often….but goodness, I’m so glad I did!
