I always love hearing each family’s vision when planning their photo session. Sometimes it’s at home, sometimes it’s at a favorite place or park, sometimes it’s based on a scenic view, sometimes it’s based on beautiful gardens…the options are endless!
This family and I have worked together since 2019, and this year they had a bit different of a vision – a session at their new vacation home in Wintergreen! With the endless vistas, beautiful light and a place that they have come to love and enjoy as a family, it was the perfect spot for their family session this year.
We started at home in a more casual outfit in their backyard. Not only was their gorgeous afternoon light, their property was near a little stream, which was the perfect spot for the twins to pause for a play break….which ended up being some of my favorite photos. After a quick wardrobe change (do you see mom’s amazing dress?! so fun!), we headed up to a nearby vista for some mountaintop photos before the sunset. The perfect mix of scenic & home shots for their family photo session!
