My Favorite Photo Heirlooms: Charlottesville & Richmond Family Photographer

Whether you’re looking to hire a photographer for the first time, or if we’ve worked together before, you might be wondering: What’s the best way for me print and enjoy my photos?

You may love to DIY and make your own albums, or you may have an existing stairwell gallery you need to add to. Honestly, there are so many ways to enjoy your photos! Honestly, I’ve worked with clients who all have different ideas of their favorite ways to print photos. Though my session collections do include digital files for you to enjoy and print, many clients love to have me take the designing and printing off their plate. No need to worry about photo quality, best places to print, how to design an album or the best types of frames for your space – I take care of it for you!

With that, I thought it may be nice to share a few of my favorite Heirlooms I offer and why I love them!  Of course, if you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out!

Heirloom Book/Family Album

If you asked me to pick a favorite heirloom that I offer, hands down it would be my Heirloom Book or Heirloom Album. Personally,  I think every family should have a Book  or Album from their session each year as a way to commemorate each year. It  allows for printing  many of your favorites from your session each year, and the best part is,  I take care of the designing for you! You simply choose your favorites and your  custom details like the cover & engraving. Just wait until you sit down with your kiddos to thumb through the photos together – your heart will swell with their joy!

Heirloom Box

The Heirloom Box is my original signature heirloom. It’s classic and simple in nature – you just can’t go wrong! It  allows you to have a large selection of prints from your  session  in a gorgeous box engraved how you wish. Can’t you just imagine a box from your  session each year lining your shelves with your family’s story? You can also easily give prints to your children when they’re older too while still having some for yourself.  

Framed Prints

Want to make  a statement with your photos and enjoy  them  day in and day out? Framed Prints  are a great choice! We can either pick a statement frame for a smaller spot in your home, or we can create a gallery to fill that wall that’s been blank for too long. You can even start with a few frames and add to your gallery wall over the years! I much prefer frames over canvas, because you can switch out the photos if needed!
