Garden Family Photos at The Clifton in Charlottesville, VA

The Clifton is a hidden gem here in Charlottesville. With subtle mountain views, a garden with all the “secret garden” vibes and a perfectly manicured property, it’s a favorite location to shoot in town!

This family chose The Clifton for their sweet girl’s first birthday photo session and my, how perfect of an evening we had! Not too hot yet, not too cool and the perfectly golden summer vibes. I photographed this sweet girl for her newborn session in Keswick,  and it was so sweet to see how much she had changed in just a year. A few wispy curls and the sweetest cherub cheeks.

We spent most of our time photographing in the tucked away garden behind the main building on the property, and explored a bit more to finish up our session. Here are just a few favorites from the evening!
