Relaxed Summer Family Photos at The Market at Grelen

Oh, how I adore this sweet family.

I’ve had the joy of working with them for multiple years now, and it’s been such a joy to see their boys grow and to get to know them even more as a family. It feels like a fun playdate rather than a photo session, and I’d say that’s something special.

This past year, we schedule their family photos at The Market at Grelen and lucked out with the most perfect evening. Golden sunshine setting over the blue ridge mountains with full blooms and lush summer greens. Beauty!!

Most of the families I get to work with in Charlottesville & Richmond come back each year, and it’s so evident how much that comfort plays into the photos we are able to create together. When your children show up knowing the photographer (me!), I feel less like a person with a camera and more like a friend they get to see and play with each year.

It means not having to do research every year. It means planning your family photo session becomes effortless and it means having someone on your side. So many families I work with call me “Miss Amy” and the stories I hear from parents after the session melts me. every. single. time. My goal is always to make your photo session something easy and something you look forward to! (And yes, even dads love working together!)
