Jeremy and I were on our way to Asheville to meet his best friend and wife for a weekend away. We were discussing our Christmas travels and confirming dates so that I’d be back in time to photograph little Liam within a few days of his arrival.
Within minutes of that conversation, I received a text from David (the proud dad-to-be) saying that Megan was in labor and that Liam would be home by Monday. He arrived a month early to the day and boy, is the sweetest little boy.
He may have been the tiniest newborn I’ve seen yet, and every bit as fascinating. He had the tiniest toes and fingers, and was wide-eyed for our entire session…beautiful eyes at that.
I’ve since seen little Liam after dropping off prints from their session, and he’s already grown so much. His parents, Megan & David are as joyful as can be. I’m so very happy for your sweet little family! Welcome to the world, Liam!
I take a limited number of sessions each month (plus, I’m a bit of a planner and always account for possible weather and sick days!) I’d love to set up a time to chat with you, hear your vision and answer any questions!

[…] I remember the first day I met Megan, as we arranged to meet over coffee to discuss sessions, collections, and heirlooms. She was eager with anticipation in welcoming her sweet little boy, Liam. It’s hard to believe it was almost a year ago that I met her, as her sweet little boy has been gracing the world for about 8 months now. When I was in Nashville in May for Angela & Geremiha’s wedding, we also arranged for Liam to have his six months session documented at their lovely home. You may remember this sweet family from his newborn session last year around the holidays. […]
